An Austrian police delegation visited the Toliskuri Day Care Center for children with disabilities in Georgia in October to assess the impact of their donations. The contributions from Vorarlberg Police officials, their families, and friends funded a house for the centre and an accessible van for transporting the children. IWA, which facilitated the donation, welcomed the delegation with Gvantsa, the centre’s director, in Khobi and celebrated the positive outcomes of this collaboration.
Gvantsa started the tour through the house in front of the elevator! She is so proud—no public house in Khobi has an elevator, but Toliskuri! By the way, the kids chose all the colors! This is the workshop-, training- and meeting room; it was already rented out for a World Vision meeting!
The physiotherapy room and the kitchen will be equipped by the Austrian PoliceGvantsa also had a surprise for her guests! This little model of Toliskuri house was given to all visitors.
