IWA supported the NGO American Friends of Georgia to provide nutritious food to children who were receiving treatment at the M. Iashvili Children´s Central Hospital in Tbilisi, Onco-Hematology Department.
Nutritious food is very important for those suffering from leukemia and cancer. During COVID, these little patients were especially at a high risk for infection. The department had 36 children together with their parents who weren´t allowed to leave the territory of the hospital.
